This decision was made after conducting a Communication Survey, which was shared with parents, and taking into account the valuable feedback we received. 

One of the main advantages of Seesaw is that it simplifies communication, allowing messages to be sent effortlessly through the app. It is important to note that teachers will only be available to respond to messages during their designated office hours, ensuring an organised and efficient communication process. Additionally, Seesaw enables multiple family members to connect to the app, fostering a sense of shared involvement in your child's educational journey.

Another exciting feature of Seesaw is its ability to showcase photographs and videos of your child's school activities. By capturing these precious moments, we aim to create a cumulative portfolio that will serve as a delightful memento for you to look back on your child's progress and development over the years they spend at Woodlands. The positive feedback we have received so far with the introduction of Seesaw has further reinforced our belief in its capacity to enhance our communication practices.

Once you have successfully connected to Seesaw, you will automatically be added to your child's new class each academic year. For families who are new to our school community, information on how to connect to Seesaw will be sent home by your child's teacher.
