Our Journey as a Federation...… 

On the 8^th January 2018 Riverbank School, Ty Gwyn School and Woodlands High School formally federated creating the Western Learning Campus Federation with a combined roll of 400 pupils, all with significant additional learning needs.

A single Governing Body was constituted and on the 15^th February 2018, an Executive Head Teacher was appointed. Cardiff Council’s decision to include Riverbank School and Woodlands High School in their 21^st Century Schools Band B Programme proposals will increase the capacity to 600 pupils, the largest additional learning needs complex in Europe.
