We participate in DACW (Daily Active Collective Worship) every day. Collective worship is an opportunity for our class to meet together in a variety of contexts to consider ourselves in terms of the great ideas and events of the world. This should allow us to see the lives of our pupils and staff as part of the rich tapestry of human existence and experience.
to explore and acknowledge the idea of a greater power or God
to consider spiritual and moral issues and explore their own to encourage participation and response whether through active involvement or by listening and experiencing
to develop a sense of community and belonging
to promote a common ethos and shared values and reinforce positive attitudes
